All hail the musical bohemians

I’ve published my annual round-up of Monheim Triennale over at Kaput. If you like experimental music or festival musings, it’s worth your time!

As a guest writer for the festival’s interview publication (the Monheim Papers), myself and the rest of our great gang of arts scribes get to finally hear the music we’ve written about, played by the talented and imaginative souls we interviewed back in winter. One of the humbling joys of attending is realising that words really always do fall about eight hundred yards short of what music actually feels like. Not being sure how to describe things, is part of the Monheim mood.
